Programmable Motor Controller
The R1 includes a high quality RoboClaw dual channel intelligent motor controller. The drive allows you to control the chassis via USB, RC radio, PWM, TTL serial and analog signals. This means you can control it with any microcontrollers such as Autopilot modules, Arduino, Raspberry Pi or more powerful companion computers like the Nvidia TX SOMs.
The drive incorporates several protection features including temperature, current, over voltage and under voltage limits. The protection features are self monitoring and protect it from damage in any operating condition. Several user definable settings such as maximum current limit, maximum and minimum battery voltages are provided for more refined control.
Open Source Deck System
R1 comes standard with the "Standard Sensor Mount". The mount provides a mounting location for the GPS Receiver or Raspberry Pi Zero as well as a handy break out port for Micro USB.
